Max H. Patrick, 81, passed away on February 22, 2026 in Derby, Kansas.

He enjoyed a golf game with friends and all kinds of music. Max graduated from Wichita High School West in 1962. His outgoing personality and great sense of humor made him perfect for his life in sales. He closed his own sales agency (Per/Max, Inc.) in 2007.

Max was preceded in death by his parents Jesse Patrick and Ruby (Patrick) Shackelford; son Kirk; brother Terry; sister Beth Holder.

He is survived by his wife Perrine, children Angela and Jason, all of Derby, Kansas, grandchildren Shae and Cole of Fernandina Beach, FL, sister-in-law Sarita Shackelford of Wichita, and brother-in-law Mike Holder of Douglass.

A funeral mass will be 10:30 am Tuesday, March 3, 2026 at St. Mary Catholic Church in Derby, with interment following at Calvary Cemetery, 610 S. Vassar, Wichita, KS.

A memorial has been established with Adult Day Services, Catholic Charities, 2235 W. 37th St. N., Wichita, KS 67204.
