Mike Phipps, age 79, went to Heaven at 6:04 a.m. on Tuesday, August 1st, 2023.
Services will be held at Olivet Southern Baptist Church, Saturday, August 12th, 2023, at 1 p.m.
His memory is carried on by: son, Brian (Kathy) Phipps; grandchildren, Kyla Hyson Hogue (Raymond) and Zach Phipps (Lexi); sister, Diana Wolff; niece, Shannon Wedge; nephew, Jeff Wolff; 1 great niece; and 3 great nephews.
Mike is preceded by: his spouse, Cheryl Phipps and sister, Judy Dozier.

Mike bought lunch for Ruth and me at NuWay for the 55th class reunion. He was grieving for Cheryl then.
I never had any classes with him, but knew who he was at West. RIP Mike.
