Roger Schierling (Teacher)

Apollo Roger Schierling, 88 of Denver, Colorado passed away March 3, 2019. Roger was born on April 14, 1930 in Medford, Oklahoma to Pearl and Jacob Schierling.

Roger is survived by his wife: Arta Schierling, children: Michele Sain and Pamela Iverson, grandchildren: Ryan Sain, Mallory Sain, Talena Ward, Brittany Graham and Lauren Iverson.

He is preceded is passing by his parents: Pearl and Jacob Schierling, siblings: Wayne Schierling, Bernice Clyborne, Richard Schierling, and Junior Schierling.

Following High school, Roger joined the United Stated Navy where he committed several years to serving for his country. He later continued his educational path by receiving a Master’s degree. With his hard work and dedication, he further taught for several years and worked for the United States Air Force as a Personnel Trainer.

Roger enjoyed reading in his free time and would share his wealth of knowledge with anyone. He loved cars, traveling, and most of all spending time with his family.

Donations may be made in Roger’s honor to the United States Department of Veteran Affairs.
