Bobby Steele

Bobby Lee Steele, of Platteville, passed away August 27, 2014 at his home. He was born August 20, 1944.

Bobby LOVED fishing, camping, boating, hunting, his friends, his daughters and ESPECIALLY his grandchildren/great grandchildren. He was kind, giving, caring and compassionate throughout his entire life.

Bobby also loved and was proud of two sons by former marriage, Brian and Scott Holden.

Bobby graduated from Wichita West High School, then served in the Kansas National Guard. 

During his lifetime, he worked at Safeway in Wichita, had his own lawn business and retired from Hamilton Sundstrand. 

He is survived and will be greatly missed by his two sisters: Joanne Deeds (Kirby) and Charlene Coleman (Bob); his three daughters whom he loved very much: Shellie Cross (Bob), Deb Steele and Eve Frost (Scott); his eight grandchildren: Jeremy Fowler, Brian Crum, Stephanie Fowler, Cody Steele, Steven Frost, Cheyenne Frost, Charlie Frost and Sarah Frost; his four great-grandchildren: Dietrich Fowler, Racel Fowler, Logan Crum and Elonna Fowler; and his friend Lynn Cody.

Celebration of Life will be held 11:00 a.m. Saturday, September 20, 2014 at Stoddard Funeral Home.
